Join us at Collective for a weekend of wild water play! Inspired by his exhibition Pet Rock, currently showing in our Hillside Gallery, artist Matty Rimmer will lead outdoor activities for 5-12 year olds exploring plastic, underwater habitats and biodiversity.
We’ll be constructing ponds, crafting underwater sculptures using recycled materials, exploring things that float and sink, and getting messy with pumping, pouring, funnelling and transporting water around the site.
Across the weekend, Matty will be setting up a large ‘bucket pond’, featuring native plants and a gravity-fed filtration system that leads down to the Play Shelter from the viewing terrace. The pond will be a site for experimenting, displaying our sculptures and paddling!
